Groove Gumbo Super Band is an eclectic band fronted by Danish drummer, Claes Brondal.
The music is rooted in Latin, Nordic folk songs, Jazz and World music.
GGSBÂ is a musical playground and a collaborative of musicians who performs in various formats from trios to tentets. GGSB was formed during The Jam Session at Bay Street Theater in New York and is an accumulation of creativity from more than 130 sessions.
GGSB redefines the concept of Jazz and ties in universal rhythms and harmonies in a musical journey ranging from Northern Europe and Africa to Latin America and the US, ultimately cooking up a diverse gumbo of musical styles.
GGSB is composed by highly regarded musicians whose musical credit includes: Randy Brecker, Hector Martignon, Bill Smith, Bobby Brennan, Edward Perez, David Sanchez, Morris Goldberg, Ada Rovatti, Paul Simon and many others.
